Roy Hammond is a cocktail bar and Asian fusion restaurant in the heart of Ballarat, about five minutes' walk from the train station. The back bar holds more than 200 spirits from distilleries around the world, including Australia, Ireland, Japan and Jamaica.
The kitchen focuses on shared street food such as Korean fried chicken, bao buns and gyoza-inspired dumplings. Thursday and Friday lunch specials and Yum Cha Sundays give locals reasons to return outside of the evening rush.
