The Gresham bar is worlds away from those tense times, offering a welcoming ambiance filled with warmth and sophistication that’s unmatched in Brisbane.

The interior feels like a blend of an English gentlemen’s club and a 19th-century New York bar, with its hand-restored design crafted to meet strict heritage guidelines. 

Colonial Restoration Supplies led the restoration, using American White Oak from Britton Timbers, preserving the building’s original character and adding to the bar’s timeless elegance. The Gresham is the only bar in Brisbane to hold a ‘Heritage Bar License,’ setting it apart as a true tribute to the city’s architectural legacy.

As for the drinks, The Gresham boasts one of the finest selections of rum, whiskey, and wine in the country, with more than 150 whiskeys and rums showcased in beautiful displays. 

Their cocktail list is extensive and artfully crafted, with each drink prepared by some of the most skilled bartenders in the industry. Whether you’re after a classic cocktail or an inventive mix, every option is thoughtfully designed for quality and flavor.
