This Sydney outpost, the initial one in Australia and the sixth worldwide, was inaugurated in 2018.

Employees Only, located in Sydney CBD, is a stylish New York-inspired venue known for its creative cocktails and delicious cuisine. Led by seasoned EO veteran Robert Krueger and award-winning bartender Dula, the bar offers a menu of expertly crafted drinks, ranging from unique to classic cocktails.

In 2022, Employees Only was named one of the best bars in Sydney by Urban List, Timeout, Hidden Secrets, and Man of Many.

A crowded Art Deco dinner club is populated by white-jacketed servers deftly whisking glimmering silver platters of Manhattans and Martinis through the air. Bar director Steve Schneider also offers modern classics such as the Mata Hari (brandy shaken with chai-infused vermouth and pomegranate juice) and Ready, Aim, Fire (mezcal, fresh lime juice and house-made honey-pineapple syrup with dashes of spicy bitters).

The appetizer menu consists of mouth-watering dishes like Steak Tartare, Freshly Shucked Oysters, Mozzarella, jalapeno Potato Balls, and more.

Complementing the drinks, the menu features sophisticated appetizers and main entrees, blending flavors and influences in dishes crafted with attention to detail and quality ingredients. The chic interior, combining vintage and modern elements, creates an inviting space for guests to enjoy their drinks and meals in a lively atmosphere.

Beyond casual enjoyment, Employees Only Sydney is available for events, accommodating up to 200 people. Whether for private celebrations or corporate gatherings, the venue provides a unique setting for memorable occasions, offering a vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service for guests to celebrate with friends, colleagues, or loved ones.

Their cozy private room is perfect for those seeking privacy and exclusive service. It can host up to 30 guests for a seated dinner or accommodate up to 40 guests for a cocktail-style event.

A 5% service charge applies to all transactions after 10 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Entry refusal is at the discretion of security. The dress code is smart casual, and shorts, slippers, and flip-flops are not allowed. Walk-ins are welcome if you’re unable to make a booking.
