Though it pays a nod to the past Brunswick East favorite, Cafe Romantica, Bar Romantica has become a moody Italian pizza spot and bar with its flair. The new owners—Henry Crawford, Oscar Hermann, William Howard, Monty Mullooly-Hill, and Ravi Thompson—have given it a fresh identity while still honoring the legacy of the 24-hour diner.

The wine list is a mix of classics and some newer, trendier options available by the glass. There’s also a selection of sought-after European pours that add a special touch.

In this lively setting, Bar Romantica brings genuine romance to life. The red booths create a cozy atmosphere, and a beautiful American Oak bar takes center stage in the front room. It’s a place that combines sophistication with a warm welcome, evolving the traditions of parties, pizza, and pool games into a contemporary spot where every visit promises a special and enchanting experience.
